Parking

You are NOT allowed to drive on the road marked with red crosses in the map below - you will get a fine if you do it. Therefore, you have to access our house and the two parking areas described below from Ronda South at point A marked in the map through the neighborhood called Barrio San Francisco - it is the area to the south of La Escondida located outside the old city wall. You are NOT allowed to enter the city from the North at point C – you will get fined.

You have two possibilities for parking your car during your stay at La Escondida:

Public pay parking: You can use the public pay parking ‘Parking El Castillo’ (behind the church Maria Auxiliadora - Google map location: https://maps.google.com/?q=36.736790,-5.165194) located only 100 m from La Escondida. The first hour is free and the price for 24 hours is 18.15€. The other map below shows how to access to Parking El Castillo from the south (red arrows) and how to walk from the parking to La Escondida (black arrows). You are allowed to drive from point A to point B and then turn left at point B for the parking but do not drive further than point B.

Free parking: You can park for free 500 m from La Escondida in a parking lot in Calle Prado Nuevo (Google maps location https://maps.google.com/?q=36.735923,-5.166438) in the neighborhood called Barrio San Francisco.

Please note that parking along the streets within the old town of Ronda is only allowed for the residents.
